ofpt.ca offers a certification program known as OFPT Certification (Orofacial Pain Therapy), which equips customers with the skills and knowledge to diagnose and treat TMD (temporomandibular disorders) and TMJ (temporomandibular joint) pain issues. The information provided on this Site is for educational purposes and is intended for individuals seeking certification or further knowledge in the field.

2. Eligibility

To be eligible for the OFPT Certification program, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

  • Have the necessary professional qualifications or background in health-related fields (as determined by us) to participate in the program.

  • Completed our intake questionairre and conducted a succesful interview with our intake Dr, Dr. Chris Oswald.

By enrolling in the certification program, you warrant that you meet these eligibility criteria.

3. Use of Services

You agree to use our Services for lawful purposes only. You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account or in connection with your use of the Site, including the accuracy of the information you provide when registering for the certification.

Prohibited Uses: You agree not to:

  • Use the Site or Services to engage in any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activities.

  • Post or share false, misleading, or deceptive information about the certification or any part of the content provided on the Site.

  • Interfere with or disrupt the security of the Site or the Services.

4. Certification Program

The OFPT Certification program provides professional education to those aiming to diagnose and treat TMD and TMJ pain. By enrolling in the program, you agree to:

  • Participate in all required coursework, assessments, and practical training.

  • Complete the program requirements to receive certification.

  • Pay all applicable fees for enrollment and certification.

Completion of the OFPT Certification program does not guarantee employment or professional opportunities. The certification is intended to provide additional qualifications to enhance your professional expertise in treating TMD and TMJ issues.

5. Payment and Fees

All fees for the OFPT Certification program are clearly stated on the Site. Payments must be made in full at the time of enrollment unless otherwise specified. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method.

We reserve the right to modify the pricing of the certification program at any time. Any fee changes will be posted on the Site and will apply to future enrollments.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and resources provided through the OFPT Certification program, including text, graphics, logos, videos, and course materials, are the intellectual property of ofpt.ca and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute these materials without our prior written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Medical Advice

The OFPT Certification program and related content are provided for educational purposes only. The information provided on our Site is not intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our refund policy: Cancellable 30 days before course starts. Within 30 days, please arrive to the course and if confirmed by noon on day 1 that you would still like to cancel, full refund.
