ABOUT THE JAW & FACIAL PAIN CENTRE

The Jaw & Facial Pain Centre was co-founded by Dr. Sid Lisser and Dr. Chris Oswald in 2006. The centre is a division of The Centre for Fitness, Health and Performance, the largest multidisciplinary health clinic in Canada. Simply put, our mission is to assist patients who are suffering from jaw and/or facial pain through accurate diagnosis and individualized treatment plans. We most commonly treat temporomandibular joint (TMJ) related disorders and/or head, neck, and facial pain.

We work collaboratively to help each individual patient experience the greatest level of comfort and normal functioning. We are successful in our treatments because of our thorough diagnostic and treatment efforts, thus resulting in significant improvements in symptoms and in your quality of life.

Dr. Sid Lisser is the lead clinician of this division and has 17 years of jaw-related experience. He practices a conservative, mechanical rehabilitation approach and works closely with many of Toronto’s leading dentists, ENTs, and orthodontists.
